[Photo/WeChat ID: hefeigaoxinfabu] The China Association for Science and Technology has recognized Zhongan Chuanggu Technology Park in the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone as one of the innovative bases of Innovation China. As the first of its kind in the province of Anhui, the park was designated as an Innovation China innovation base in the area of incubating innovations and start-up firms. The China Association for Science and Technology uses the innovation bases of Innovation China as platforms to support corporate, academic, and research institution collaboration in innovation as well as the commercialization of scientific and technological advancements. The Innovation China Zhongan Chuanggu innovation base has established a sci-tech incubation service system, set up various service facilities and organized a series of incubation activities to provide all-round services. The park is expected to become an international sci-tech innovation community. It plans to carry out six phases, with a total planned area of more than 2.6 million square meters. The first phase of about 450,000 sq m was officially put into operation in April 2020 and the second phase of about 540,000 sq m will be completed this year.
