On February 20th, the exhibition of Yiran Wang's jellyfish series, “㵘”, was held in Dadi Art Museum,located in East and West Jindadi Street, Hefei city, Anhui Province. The exhibition creates a dreamy ocean-like atmosphere through sound, light, electricity, painting and other arts,attracting many citizens and tourist. 
the exhibition of Yiran Wang's jellyfish series, “㵘” Born on August 9,1995,based in Shanghai,Wang graduated from Zhejiang University and then studied directing at University of Southern California. As one of the top ten outstanding young artists in Singapore,she has participated in many art exhibitions at home and abroad. Talking about the exhibition's theme, Wang said that the ocean water is the domain of jellyfish and covers about 72 percent of the earth's surface, allowing Jellyfish be found from the Antarctic to the Arctic, from the surface of the ocean to the depths of the ocean. And the exhibition is named 㵘 (Man), which means great water.

It floats in the sea, move with the help of waves and currents,never feel humble.It happy to swim in the ocean and loves the sea and life probably more than human.While at the exhibition site, the dreamy dark blue lights, billowing waves, sea breezes and other on-site atmosphere make people feel like being in the depths of the ocean. According to the introduction, the exhibition has used many installations to create the wonderful atmosphere.The first floor of the exhibition hall hangs jellyfish series of oil paintings; the lower ground floor of the exhibition hall is an immersive experience space,with the original white woven lights switched to blue light.Apart from that,the video playback is positioned at a separate area, while ornamented with jellyfish made by wave organza, irregular pleated laser gradient fabric, lace pleated fabric and iron wire,contrast with the reflective multi-faceted real jellyfish device, allowing viewers to experience the feeling of "dream and blur".

It's biology, but also philosophy."said by Siyang Li,curator of the exhibition.When the organism dies, microbes start to decompose cells,releasing molecules for using by other organisms. Carbon, nitrogen and other nutrients that make up our bodies,has been used by many creatures before us, and will be used again by many creatures after us. This is the cycle of life,for at least most creatures. Juhong Zhou,the organizer of this exhibition and general manager of Jindadi East and West Street project, said that Jindadi East and West Street has grown from one person to tens of thousands of people in the past ten years,countless artistic youths and people who love aesthetic life gather here,shaping the unique artistic temperament of new first-tier city."It has become the most iconic, fashionable landmark of the new Hefei." This exhibition is also an important exploration of "new atmosphere" of Hefei youth literature and art,held in the culture and art section of Jindi East West Street in 2022. The exhibition, hosted by The Dadi Art Museum of The Dadi Art Center, will last until March 20, 2022.
