At 08:02 on November 3, a JD Air Airbus A330F wide-body freighter took off from Hefei Xinqiao International Airport loaded with cargo bound for Navi Mumbai Airport, India. This marked the maiden flight of Hefei’s direct international cargo route to India, which is also Hefei’s first regular cargo route with direct access to South Asia.

Linking Hefei with Delhi and Navi Mumbai in India, the route is scheduled to operate four flights weekly. Import and export cargo features distinct local products, enabling two-way cargo flows. To ensure the smooth maiden flight, the logistics company coordinated with the airline in advance across all business divisions, sorted out support requirements for the Airbus A330 freighter, and refined ground handling procedures for the apron and cargo terminal. All links worked in seamless coordination with timely and efficient information exchange, successfully completing the support mission for the inaugural flight.

Hefei Xinqiao Airport now operates multiple international cargo routes on a regular basis.
