On the morning of October 28, the signing ceremony for the Lunar Lander Hover‑testing and Assembly‑Testing Base Project of Beijing T-SPACE Aerospace Technology took place in Anqing.

Founded by a Tsinghua University research team, Beijing T-SPACE Aerospace Technology Co., Ltd. focuses on the commercialization of Earth‑Moon deep‑space exploration. The newly‑signed project will mainly construct a lander assembly‑testing base and hover‑testing site to support lander assembly, component storage, as well as the research, development and verification of relevant technologies.

In recent years, Anqing has prioritized commercial aerospace and space‑air information as key future‑industry sectors. The city is accelerating the development of a commercial aerospace cluster, actively advancing complete‑satellite manufacturing, and building an industrial chain covering “rockets‑satellites‑data applications”. It is also developing the national Beidou large‑scale application pilot city and the Anqing Beidou Industrial Park with high standards.

At present, Anqing's commercial aerospace industry centers on the Anqing Economic and Technological Development Zone, with Qianshan City and Yingjiang District as supporting hubs. A host of enterprises including Anhui Zenk Space Technology Co., Ltd. and Anqing Xijia Aerospace Technology Co., Ltd. have settled here. The city is focusing on developing five major sectors: satellite industrial park, rocket industrial park, rocket‑satellite application industrial park, aerospace‑materials industrial park and public‑supporting industrial park, so as to build a commercial aerospace industrial system integrating research‑and‑development, production and services.
