The Anhui Pavilion of the 31st Macao International Trade and Investment Fair opened on October 21.
Covering an exhibition area of 180 square meters and themed “Anhui Linking China and the World, Innovating for a Smart Future”, the Anhui Pavilion is organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Anhui Sub-council. Nearly 30 outstanding representative enterprises including iFLYTEK, Yun Zhen Technology, BCDTEK, Openmind Robot, Jiexun Optoelectronic, Gujing Group and Xiehecheng Pharmaceutical are featured, covering four major sectors: high and new technologies, TCM healthcare, green food, and cultural creativity. At the fair, Anhui exhibitors showcased the province’s robust scientific and technological innovation strength and industrial features in diverse ways such as human-machine interactive experiences, product sampling and on-site live demonstrations. The displays drew numerous domestic and overseas merchants for inquiries and business talks.
The Anhui delegation concurrently hosted the China (Anhui) – Portuguese-speaking Countries Pavilion Exchange and Anhui-Macao Supply Chain Cooperation & Procurement Matchmaking Conference. The event promoted Anhui’s geographical advantages, key industries, business environment and development opportunities. Representatives from chambers of commerce and enterprises of Portuguese-speaking countries including Brazil were invited to visit the Anhui Pavilion for targeted one-on-one negotiations. A number of preliminary cooperation intentions were reached on site, injecting new momentum into two-way economic and trade cooperation.
This marks the 13th time that Anhui has organized a delegation to participate in the Macao International Trade and Investment Fair. Going forward, Anhui will keep amplifying the spillover effects of the exhibition. It will deepen practical cooperation focusing on alignment of TCM quality standards, coordination of industrial and supply chains, and development of regular exchange mechanisms, so as to further expand economic and trade cooperation between Anhui, Macao and Portuguese-speaking countries.
