On October 10, the "Empowering Jianghuai Region with Intelligence · Future of Embodiment — USTC Conference on Industry-University-Research Integrated Innovation for Embodied Intelligence" was held at the High-Tech Campus of the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC).

Centered on technological innovation, commercialization of research outcomes, talent development and industrial application of embodied intelligence, the conference gathered around 600 guests including academicians, experts, university research teams, leading industrial enterprises, financial and investment institutions, as well as alumni representatives from home and abroad. Participants discussed cutting-edge technologies and industrial development of embodied intelligence to advance the in-depth integration of scientific and technological innovation with industrial innovation.

At the event, the Anhui Embodied Intelligence Innovation Center was inaugurated, and research achievements of the USTC Institute of Humanoid Robots were released.

Embodied intelligence represents a key frontier where artificial intelligence and robotics technologies converge. It enables intelligent systems to move beyond the information space into the physical world, delivering perception, decision-making and action in real-world environments. As a core physical carrier of embodied intelligence, humanoid robots integrate cutting-edge technologies spanning mechanical engineering, control science, artificial intelligence and other disciplines, emerging as a major arena for global scientific and technological innovation as well as industrial competition.

During the conference, participating experts and corporate representatives exchanged insights and explored collaboration opportunities via keynote speeches and thematic seminars, focusing on breakthroughs in core technologies, translation of innovative achievements and industrial ecosystem development.
