On July 8, Anhui’s first Intelligent Packaging Creative Design Center was inaugurated at Anhui Vocational College of Press and Publishing.

Co-built by the college and Anhui Packaging Technology Association, the center serves as a comprehensive innovation platform empowered by artificial intelligence for the packaging industry, integrating talent cultivation, technological research and development, and achievement transformation. Drawing on the college’s educational strengths including Packaging Planning and Design, a national key backbone major, and the provincial high-level digital creative major cluster, the center pools resources from industry associations. It focuses on intelligent packaging design, eco-friendly material research and development, brand cultural and creative planning and other fields, and deepens industry-education integration and school-enterprise cooperation through customized talent training programs, creative research and development, and technical tackling.

The launch of the center creates an industry-education cooperation platform for cultivating skilled personnel and advancing technological innovation in the sector. The association will encourage its member enterprises to participate extensively, facilitating seamless alignment between industrial demands and teaching practices.

Following the unveiling ceremony, relevant officials delivered special reports discussing the application prospects of artificial intelligence in scenarios such as packaging design, intelligent inspection and digital marketing.

As a national training base for highly skilled printing professionals, Anhui Vocational College of Press and Publishing has established partnerships with more than 200 enterprises across and outside Anhui Province. It continuously supplies technical and skilled talents to drive the digital, intelligent and green transformation of the packaging industry.
