Reporters learned from the Anhui Provincial Bureau of Data Resources that the Action Plan for Accelerating the Development of "AI + Government Services" in Anhui Province (hereinafter referred to as the Action Plan) was recently issued. Centering on six major fields including government services, data elements and economic regulation, the province will advance the in-depth integration of artificial intelligence and government services in a systematic manner, and drive the modernization of the governance system and governance capacity through digital and intelligent technologies.

The Action Plan sets phased development goals. By 2027, a unified provincial digital and intelligent infrastructure will be consolidated, with no fewer than 100 distinctive application scenarios of "AI + Government Services" put into operation. By 2030, comprehensive, full-process, full-element and all-region in-depth application of relevant technologies will be realized across the sector. Meanwhile, the plan puts forward building five unified supporting systems covering service portals, model capabilities, data supply, computing power networks and security protection. It adopts the development models of "unified construction at the provincial level for province-wide sharing" and "innovation in one place for replication across the province" to avoid redundant construction and foster an innovative ecosystem for AI-enabled government services. The first batch of 64 key application scenarios has been launched, covering government services, social governance, people's livelihood security and other fields.

At present, Anhui is speeding up the construction and application of "AI + Government Services". In terms of public service handling, the new service model "Flexible Handling in Beautiful Anhui" has been launched. Targeting the problems that enterprises and residents need to go through repeated procedures for a single item or handle multiple items at one time, the platform provides "One-stop Fast Handling" and "Combined Handling of Multiple Items". Users can freely combine service items on the platform, and the system will automatically generate forms, merge data fields and streamline required documents. Currently, over 400 service items support combined handling.

For government operation, AI technologies are applied to streamline categorized government affairs. Relying on the Anhui Government Service platform, the "AI Wanmei" office assistant has been rolled out, equipped with 14 intelligent functions including official document error checking, policy interpretation and data analysis report generation. Its total usage has exceeded 600,000 times, helping government staff improve administrative efficiency.
