In high‑risk environments such as pharmaceuticals and chemical industry, a pair of specialized protective gloves that can resist strong acids and alkalis and prevent chemical permeation is an indispensable safety barrier. Nowadays, Chuzhou Qianmu Intelligent Manufacturing Co., Ltd. in Anhui has broken foreign monopolies with its independently developed core technologies, and its products are selling well worldwide.
“Our specially developed isolation protective gloves can withstand extremely strong acids, extremely strong alkalis, and powerful oxidizers, while also offering wear‑resistance and tear‑resistance. They are widely used in high‑precision and cutting‑edge industrial and research settings,” explained the company’s general manager, Liu Yanlu. In 2023, Liu and her team brought their technology to Quanjiao, Chuzhou. “We were very anxious at the time, but the local government put a lot of trust in us — they helped us with all the procedures, arranged water, electricity, and gas, and we also received an investment from a government guiding fund, which allowed us to settle in securely,” she said. Currently, the company’s gloves are exported to more than 30 countries and regions worldwide, entering markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, South Korea, and India, where they compete directly with leading international brands.
In January this year the company broke ground on a new factory, which is expected to be completed and put into operation in August; once up and running it will become a global leading production base for isolation gloves and main‑line gloves. Going forward, the company plans to continue expanding its product lines — including anti‑slip, electrical‑insulation, and high‑end disposable gloves — and to engage in university‑enterprise collaborations with Zhejiang University and Hefei University of Technology to strengthen its innovation advantages through integration of industry, academia, and research.
