Recently, the Anhui Anqing Zaifen Huangmei Art Theatre presented its "20th Anniversary · Twenty Productions" repertoire performance series at the Zaifen Huangmei Mansion in Anqing.

This performance event commenced on December 20, 2025, and will run until January 9, 2026. The showcase features twenty masterpiece productions, including classic Huangmei operas such as "The Female Consort Prince", "The Heavenly Match" and "Huizhou Women", alongside new acclaimed works like "Yannian and Qiaonian" and "Liuchixiang: Kuan", which resonate with contemporary themes. This series presents a comprehensive overview of the artistic development and significant achievements of Anhui Zaifen Huangmei Art Theatre over its two decades.

During the event, a special exhibition titled "Xiao Ci Dian: Cultural and Artistic Experience Pavilion" will be held. Additionally, in collaboration with the School of Huangmei Opera of Anqing Normal University, a prize-winning essay competition titled "Watching Zaifen Huangmei, Writing Drama Reviews" will be organized.

In recent years, the Anhui Zaifen Huangmei Opera Art Theater has consistently focused on talent cultivation. Through mechanisms such as "Everyone as a Lead Performer," it has promoted the emergence of talented individuals, outstanding productions, and refined works, contributing a steady stream of young talent to the drama art industry. The theater has also actively expanded its presence in domestic and international markets, significantly enhancing the cultural influence and brand reputation of Huangmei Opera.
