From January to November, a set of impressive data outlined the "meteoric rise" of Anhui's electronic information manufacturing industry. The value-added of industrial enterprises above the designated size grew by 37.9% year-on-year, surpassing the provincial industrial average and the national industry average by 28.6 and 27.5 percentage points, respectively. Its value-added accounted for 12.3% of the province's total industrial output, contributing as much as 39.1% to the province's industrial growth. All three indicators ranked first among industrial sectors in the province, establishing the industry as both a "stabilizer" and a "growth engine" for Anhui's industrial landscape. This has provided robust support for the province in fostering new quality productive forces and leading the development of a modern industrial system.

During the same period, the value-added of integrated circuit manufacturing enterprises above the designated size in Anhui surged by 172.1% year-on-year, with output reaching 10.09 billion units, up 9.1% year-on-year. By the end of October, operating revenue had exceeded 101.58 billion yuan, marking a remarkable year-on-year increase of 140.1%.

Such high growth is no coincidence but the result of the convergence of technological breakthroughs, production capacity expansion, and market demand. As one of the key regions designated for integrated circuit development in China's 14th Five-Year Plan, Anhui boasts a comprehensive industrial chain, hosting over 500 upstream and downstream enterprises. 

From January to November, the value-added of display device manufacturing enterprises above the designated size in the province increased by 20.5% year-on-year, with the output of liquid crystal display modules reaching 480 million units, marking a substantial surge of 104.6% compared to the same period last year. By the end of October, operating revenue reached 92.96 billion yuan, reflecting an 11.8% year-on-year growth. Against the backdrop of increasingly fierce global competition in the display industry, Anhui's new display sector has achieved the dual objectives of "steady growth" and "new breakthroughs."

During the same period, the value-added of computer manufacturing enterprises above the designated size in the province rose by 34.3% year-on-year, with operating revenue reaching 112.44 billion yuan by the end of October, up 32.1% compared to the same period last year. From January to November, the province produced 25.245 million laptop computers, ranking fifth nationwide in terms of total output.

In addition to laptops, Anhui's production of color television sets also delivered remarkable performance. From January to November, output reached 7.188 million units, securing the fourth position nationally.

Building a stronger electronic information manufacturing industry is one of the key approaches for Anhui to foster new quality productive forces and accelerate the establishment of a modern industrial system. Since the 14th Five-Year Plan period, efforts have been concentrated on strengthening the core components, solidifying the display sector, and enhancing end-device manufacturing, while also developing emerging tracks such as photovoltaic energy storage. Guided by a tailored strategy for each industrial chain, the province has promoted industrial development through technological innovation, strengthened, supplemented, and extended industrial chains through "attracting investment and talent", and cultivated high-quality enterprises to foster a robust industrial ecosystem.
