Scenario innovation is the core engine driving the deep integration of AI across various industries. Recently, the Artificial Intelligence Industry Innovation Conference was successfully held in Hefei.

The conference was jointly organized by the Provincial Department of Science and Technology and the China Computer Federation. It invited many experts and scholars to deliver keynote reports on artificial intelligence and simultaneously hosted four parallel events focused on cutting-edge specialized fields. These activities provided a platform for exchanges and collaboration between the academic and industrial communities of AI, fostering the deep integration of technological innovation and industrial advancement in artificial intelligence.

At the conference, the Hefei Metro released the latest scenario opportunities, including the "Artificial Intelligence Application Scenarios for Rail Transit," and called for nationwide submissions of AI scenario application capabilities. "The project will be driven by the dual engines of AI+5G, focusing on three core scenarios: intelligent operation and maintenance, smart construction, and green, low-carbon development. It will advance the comprehensive deployment of intelligent applications in stages," explained Dai Rong, Director of the Science and Technology Innovation Department of the Hefei Metro. By exploring the construction of a smart rail transit system featuring full-factor perception, end-to-end collaboration, and holistic ecological optimization, the project aims to create a replicable and scalable "scenario model" that will lead the rail transit industry toward greater intelligence, sustainability, and integration.

Artificial intelligence is redefining productivity and creativity, with the deep integration of academia, industry, and policy support serving as the key driving force behind technological advancement. As a rapidly emerging hub for scientific and technological innovation, Anhui provides fertile ground for transitioning AI technologies from the laboratory to the market.

In recent years, Anhui has seized the opportunities presented by general artificial intelligence by continuously strengthening top-level planning and enhancing foundational capabilities in computing power, data, and models. The province has issued and implemented an "AI+" action plan while iteratively upgrading specialized policies. Anhui has now built over 45,000 Petaflops of intelligent computing power, with 893 AI enterprises above designated size and 12,000 related companies in the industrial chain. It has become a core force in the national AI strategic layout.

Moving forward, Anhui will further implement the "AI+" action initiative, systematically advance developments in cutting-edge fields, and prioritize scenario innovation as the driving force, integration and application as the goal, and the development of vertical models as the focal point. The province aims to create a series of scenario application demonstrations and industrial innovation parks. These efforts will help establish Anhui as a nationally influential AI industry cluster and inject robust momentum into industrial innovation and development in the era of "AI+."
