On December 15, the preparatory meeting for the "Postal Industry Technology Innovation Center" was held at the International Advanced Technology Application Promotion Center (Hefei) [hereinafter referred to as "Guoxian Center (Hefei)"]. It was learned at the meeting that Hefei is advancing the 2.0 version of the all-space unmanned system, with a focus on planning the establishment of unmanned sorting hubs in the postal industry. The aim is to build a full-process operational model of "human vehicles for transportation – robots for sorting – unmanned equipment for terminal delivery". The meeting brought together various stakeholders, including rail transit companies, unmanned equipment enterprises, and courier companies. Among them, Anhui Transportation Holding Information Industory Co., Ltd. and Hefei Metro will leverage their resource advantages to create benchmark projects through scenario development, driving the large-scale replication of technology applications. Postal, SF Express, JD Logistics, Deppon Express, and ZTO Express, among other postal and courier companies operating in Hefei, will integrate existing resources, explore high-value application scenarios, and develop smart solutions in areas such as intelligent sorting, warehousing, and delivery. These efforts aim to enhance service efficiency and reduce operational costs. As the core carrier for the construction of the all-space unmanned system, the Guoxian Center (Hefei) will continue to strengthen the identification and perception of advanced technologies, establish a platform for technology verification and iteration, and promote the deep integration of unmanned equipment with postal and courier services. It is reported that the 1.0 version of the all-space unmanned system has already formed a demonstration in Luogang Park, and this practice will mark the beginning of building the 2.0 version of the system. As early as the 2025 UAV Industry Development Matchmaking Meeting held during the World Manufacturing Conference, the Hefei Municipal Postal Administration proposed the strategic goal of building a "Postal Industry Technology Innovation Center" in Hefei and released the latest exploratory achievements in the application of technological innovation scenarios within the postal industry. "Currently, in terms of technological innovation and application, Hefei Rail Transit has innovatively adopted the 'subway + unmanned vehicles' model and 'underground-ground intermodal transport,' achieving green and clean transportation throughout the entire process. This has become a benchmark case for innovative applications in the industry," said a relevant official from the Hefei Municipal Postal Administration.
