On November 25, reporters learned from the Hefei Xinzhan High‑tech Zone that the Xinzhan High‑End Optical Film Production Base project has completed its final acceptance inspection. Once officially commissioned, it will help attract and establish membrane‑material projects in the new‑materials sector, support their growth, accelerate construction of a new display industry ecosystem, and provide room for high‑quality companies to expand. The completed Xinzhan High‑End Optical Film Production Base is located at the northwest corner of the intersection of Jiudingshan Road and Huaihai Avenue, covering about 70 mu (approximately 4.67 hectares) with a total floor area of about 76,000 square meters. The project mainly comprises seven multi‑storey factory buildings and one integrated support building. Although an optical film is thin and small, its technical content and application demands are considerable. According to relevant sources, optical films—an important member of functional film materials—are key to achieving high‑definition, high‑contrast image displays. “Optical films play a crucial role in the screens of electronic devices such as smartphones, computers, and televisions,” they said. According to the latest progress report, the project has completed its acceptance inspection. Once it is officially put into operation, the facility will speed up the attraction, establishment, and expansion of membrane‑material projects within the new‑materials industry, provide industrial space for high‑quality enterprises, and promote the new‑display value chain to move toward innovation and higher levels of development.
