On November 16, 2025, the Anhui International Inbound Tourism Conference was held.  

According to information released at the conference, in recent years, Anhui has prioritized the development of international inbound tourism as a key measure to deepen the integration of culture and tourism, promote all-for-one tourism, and establish cultural and tourism as a pillar industry. In the first three quarters of this year, the number of international inbound tourist visits and international tourism revenue in Anhui Province increased by 62.9% and 53.6% year-on-year, respectively.

The event officially launched the "Visit Anhui" intelligent platform, the Anhui section on Alipay International, and promotional videos of curated Anhui international inbound travel routes. It also featured the Inauguration Ceremony of Anhui Culture and Tourism Global Promotion Center (Hong Kong Station) and the initiation of the "Millions of International Tourists to Anhui Program". Following its launch, the program will leverage overseas promotion centers to build a global marketing network, enhance targeted tourist attraction, and comprehensively improve the service standards and international appeal of Anhui's international inbound tourism. This effort aims to support the "Inbound Tourism Doubling Plan" and accelerate the development of Anhui as a world-class tourist destination. 

The conference was hosted by the Anhui Provincial People's Government, and organized by the Publicity Department of the Anhui Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Anhui Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, the Huangshan Municipal People's Government, and Trip.com Group. Attendees included representatives from international tourism organizations, overseas business associations, travel agencies, and travel bloggers, as well as responsible officials from various municipal governments in Anhui, heads of municipal culture and tourism departments, and representatives from key cultural and tourism enterprises.
