From October 16th to 18th, the 10th China International Copyright Expo was held at the Qingdao International Convention Center (Laoshan Hall). As one of the first pilot zones in Anhui Province for the protection and promotion of folk art copyright, the Publicity Department of Jinghu District was invited to participate. Through physical exhibits, images, audio-visual materials, and on-site promotions, the district comprehensively showcased its outstanding copyright achievements in recent years across four areas: copyright promotion, distinctive copyright industries, copyright innovation development, and the protection of folk art copyright.

Wuhu Iron Painting, a traditional art form crafted from low-carbon steel through forging, welding, acid cleaning, and painting, uniquely captures the artistic essence of Chinese painting while embodying the three-dimensional quality of sculpture. It has long been honored as a "Masterpiece of Chinese Art."

For this exhibition, six representative iron paintings were carefully selected. Among them, the replica of the large-scale iron painting "Xia Wei Qian Qiu" holds exceptional significance, as the original was a major gift from Anhui Province to celebrate Hong Kong's return to the motherland. The table screen piece "Blossoming Prosperity" was created as a tribute to the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. Breaking from the traditional black-and-white palette of iron paintings, it features seven peonies forged from iron in rich colors, symbolizing auspiciousness and wealth. The exhibition also showcased various smaller traditional iron paintings and cultural creative products for attendees to appreciate and purchase, allowing more people to experience the exquisite craftsmanship and practical value of iron art up close.

The presence of Wuhu Iron Painting at the 10th China International Copyright Expo not only served as a significant display of Jinghu District's intangible cultural heritage achievements but also provided a broader platform for exchange and promotion. As one of the first pilot zones in Anhui Province for the protection and promotion of folk art copyright, Jinghu District will continue to act as a "service provider" for copyright protection and a "guardian" of intangible cultural heritage inheritance, leveraging "intangible" copyright to empower the "tangible" development of the city.
