The 2025 World Manufacturing Convention has successfully concluded. As Anhui Province's largest-scale, highest-level manufacturing event with significant international influence, this edition fully accomplished all planned activities and achieved fruitful results across multiple fronts—including industrial cooperation, project signings, authoritative releases, and achievement displays. According to a press conference held by the provincial government on September 30th, the convention facilitated 735 cooperative projects with a total investment of 380.2 billion yuan. Attendees included 659 guests from 53 countries and regions, setting new records for both participant diversity and international attendance compared to previous editions.

Slovakia served as the Guest Country of Honor at this year's event. Focused on fostering global industrial collaboration and supply chain connectivity, six international activities were successfully organized, doubling last year's count. Once again, 659 international delegates from 53 countries and regions joined the gathering, marking historic highs in geographic representation and foreign participation.

A total of 35 specialized forums and launch events were held during the convention, eight more than last year, further elevating its prominence as a premier industry platform.

The professionalism of specialized events has been further enhanced. The convention successfully organized 23 special events, including the Future Network Industry Development Cooperation and Matchmaking Event, and the "AI + Manufacturing" Integrated Application Scenarios Matchmaking Meeting. A total of over 120 cooperation agreements or memorandums were signed, and 65 investment promotion sessions were conducted. The German SME Headquarters Cluster (Wuhu) and the Anhui Provincial Bio-Manufacturing Industry Alliance were officially inaugurated.

The synergy of co-hosted events has been further strengthened. For the first time, we collaborated with Shanghai Securities News to host the Anhui Province and Listed Companies Industry Matchmaking Meeting, which was attended by more than 60 listed companies, leading enterprises, and financial investment institutions, followed by field investigations in relevant cities. The convention also pioneered a dual-event linkage mechanism between the World Manufacturing Convention and the China International Import Expo (CIIE), organizing the CIIE Foreign Enterprises (Anhui) Supply-Demand Matchmaking and Investment Exchange Event. This invited exhibitors from various sectors of the CIIE to engage in in-depth matchmaking with over 130 Anhui-based enterprises, accelerating the opening of channels for Anhui enterprises to connect with international frontiers.

The opening ceremony of the convention unveiled the "2025 Top 500 Chinese Manufacturing Enterprises" list and the "Manufacturing Digital Transformation Capability Level (2025)" report, along with 10 leading "flagship" technologies and products from Anhui Province in domestic and international markets. Nine dedicated release events were held, disclosing achievements across multiple fields, which garnered widespread attention from various sectors of society.
