On the afternoon of September 20th, the "Collection of Typical Cases for Manufacturing Digital Transformation in 2025" was officially released at the Manufacturing Digital Transformation Achievements Matchmaking Event of the 2025 World Manufacturing Convention. Wuhu City in Anhui Province was selected as a city case; Hefei Xinzhan High-Tech Industrial Development Zone was chosen as an industrial park and cluster case; and Anhui Gujing Group and Changhong Meiling Co., Ltd. were selected as enterprise cases. 

It is reported that the "Collection of Typical Cases for Manufacturing Digital Transformation in 2025" is divided into three sections: City Edition, Industrial Park & Cluster Edition, and Enterprise Edition, featuring a total of 59 carefully selected typical cases. Among these, there are 15 city cases, highlighting exemplary policy measures and organizational models implemented to drive digital upgrades among local manufacturing enterprises. Nine cases focus on industrial parks and clusters, emphasizing key practices such as establishing centers for promoting digital transformation in manufacturing, upgrading infrastructure, facilitating chain-wide renovation across upstream and downstream enterprises within the park/cluster, and strengthening public service support to advance enterprise digitalization. The 35 enterprise cases showcase the effectiveness, replicability, and industry-specific characteristics of solutions, with a focus on leveraging digital technologies and services to address challenges for industry players, exploring new intelligent manufacturing models based on large models, and cultivating digital transformation service providers with an industrial DNA. 

Since the launch of the 14th Five-Year Plan, Anhui Province has consistently regarded digital transformation as a key driver for promoting high-quality development in manufacturing, elevating its digitalization, networking, and intelligent advancement to new heights. Achievements include over 20,000 industrial enterprises above designated size completing digital upgrades—accounting for 83% of all such enterprises provincewide. We have established five Global "Lighthouse Factories" (ranked 4th nationally), nurtured 45 national-level 5G smart factories (ranked 5th nationally), and secured 22 specialized national platforms (ranked 5th nationally). Additionally, Anhui have introduced and cultivated 261 digital transformation service providers, covering 14 key industrial sectors and 31 operational scenarios across the province.  

A relevant official from the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology stated that Anhui has now achieved a historic leap from being a traditional agricultural province to a major manufacturing hub, and from an energy and raw materials base to an emerging industry cluster. Anhui is striving towards its goal of becoming a "strong manufacturing province." They will further advance the digital transformation of manufacturing in Anhui, aiming to keep the number of selected cases among the highest nationwide.
