On September 10, during the 2025 China International Fair for Trade in Services, the Promotion Conference on Expanding Opening-up of the Services Sector of Anhui Province was held at Shougang Park.　

This promotional meeting focused on showcasing Anhui's business environment, achievements in service trade development, Hefei City's comprehensive pilot program for expanding openness in the service industry, and the construction of national pioneer zones for all-for-one tourism development. It actively facilitated matchmaking and negotiations in the field of service trade, as well as efforts for "attracting investment and talent", aiming to gather more high-quality resources for the high-quality development of Anhui's service trade.

Since the 14th Five-Year Plan period, Anhui's service trade has been anchored on a development direction of "high quality, optimized structure, and sustainability," achieving a transformation from "quantitative accumulation" to "qualitative leap." The total value of service trade surged from 33.37 billion yuan in 2020 to 49.27 billion yuan in 2024, with an average annual growth rate of 10.2%. In the first half of 2025, the total service trade reached 30.64 billion yuan, growing by 34.4%, ranking third nationwide in terms of growth rate and exceeding the national average growth rate by 26.4 percentage points.

A high-quality business environment is the strongest competitive advantage. For many years, Anhui has been committed to building a first-class market-oriented, law-based, and internationalized business environment. It has rolled out a series of policies aimed at stabilizing foreign trade and attracting foreign investment, with 35 measures covering the entire chain from institutional opening up to entity cultivation. Benchmarking against 18 key areas of business environment evaluation, Anhui has introduced over 800 improvement initiatives for six consecutive years. The province has deepened cooperation under its "Anhui Going Global" partner program with more than 60 partners, strengthening efforts to attract foreign-invested projects. Furthermore, Anhui has established 33 overseas commercial service networks to support leading industries in going global together.

The promotional meeting also invited guests from 16 well-known domestic and international enterprises and chambers of commerce/industry associations in the service trade sector to participate. They shared insights on new opportunities presented by Anhui's open development and discussed potential new collaborations in the field of service trade.
