On the morning of August 23rd, the Anhui Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government hosted the inaugural "Rixin: Jianghuai Science and Technology Innovation Salon" at the High-tech Zone Campus of the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC).

Adhering to the principle of giving priority to science and technology and making strategic moves in innovation first, Anhui Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government organized the "Rixin: Jianghuai Science and Technology Innovation Salon." Over more than four hours, participants focused on the requirements for coordinated interaction among the three major science and technology innovation leading hubs. They actively spoke and asked questions, sharing insightful views and offering suggestions on topics including deepening basic research, innovating models for government-industry-academia-research collaboration, building high-level innovation platforms, smoothing channels for transforming scientific and technological achievements into practical applications, leveraging enterprises as primary agents of innovation, cultivating top-tier talent, and strengthening financial support. The atmosphere at the scene was very relaxed and lively.

By regularly hosting these science and technology innovation salons, Anhui aims to build platforms for in-depth communication between scientists, entrepreneurs, and others. These platforms will serve as bridges connecting the innovation chain, industrial chain, capital chain, and talent chain. This will enable scientists to better sense the pulse of industrial development and allow entrepreneurs to directly touch upon the frontiers of scientific progress. Consequently, resource allocation efficiency will improve, policy support will be optimized, collaborative mechanisms will be enhanced, and the transformation of scientific and technological achievements will accelerate. All these efforts will drive continuous advancement in both scientific and industrial innovation towards higher levels. We must spare no effort in serving scientists and entrepreneurs, vigorously fostering an ecosystem that values innovation, tolerates failure, and encourages exploration.
