From September 5th to 7th, the 2025 Low-Altitude Economy Development Conference, a key special event of the World Manufacturing Convention, will be held in Wuhu. On September 3rd, reporters interviewed relevant departments in Wuhu City and learned that this year's conference will focus on safety and innovation, featuring many highlights.

Since 2022, Wuhu has successfully hosted three consecutive Low-Altitude Economy Development Conferences, achieving significant results in enhancing regional industrial influence, promoting business attraction and project implementation, and attracting talent concentration. The 2024 conference, in particular, brought together numerous industry leaders  and drew a large audience both onsite and online, having become an annual grand event in China's low-altitude economy sector.

It is understood that at the opening ceremony, Wuhu's Low-Altitude Intelligent Networking System will be officially launched. A newly established "Low-Altitude Economy Innovation Development Report Meeting" will invite influential figures from the industry to share profound insights on building a low-altitude safety system. Furthermore, among the 12 parallel seminars, multiple themes will focus on low-altitude safety, deeply analyzing its importance and development pathways from various angles and perspectives.

In terms of international expansion, this year's conference has taken solid steps forward. Guests from over 40 organizations across more than 10 countries—including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Canada, and Australia—have been invited to attend.

Parallel seminars will feature an event for releasing international demands in the low-altitude economy and facilitating industry matchmaking. This platform will host high-level international dialogues, signing ceremonies, and announcement activities.

Regarding regional coordinated development, efforts are underway to accelerate the integration of Wuhu's low-altitude economy into the Yangtze River Delta region. Cities from the Yangtze River Delta, such as Suzhou and Hangzhou, have been invited to participate. A special exhibition area within the conference will be dedicated to Yangtze River Delta cities including Hefei, Wuhu, Hangzhou, and Suzhou. By showcasing their respective achievements in developing the low-altitude economy, these cities aim to promote inter-city industrial connections and knowledge sharing, consolidate the region's advantageous resources, support collaborative growth of the low-altitude economy across the Yangtze River Delta, and foster a unified force driving regional development.

The conference boasts a rich program encompassing five key components: "Meetings," "Exhibitions," "Demonstrations," "Investment Promotion," and "Field Trips." Within the "Meetings" segment, there will be one main plenary session and multiple parallel seminars. These discussions will cover hot topics in the industry such as low-altitude intelligent networking, international market demands, and aircraft manufacturing, aiming to strategize for sector development. The "Exhibition" area, led by cutting-edge technologies and practical applications in low-altitude scenarios, will bring together high-quality enterprises across a 30,000 square meter display space. It will comprehensively showcase global achievements in the low-altitude economy, presenting attendees with a visual and technological feast within this field.
