Currently, Anhui Province is striving to seize a leading position in the development of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) industry through measures such as technological breakthroughs, attracting innovative entrepreneurship teams, and building application scenarios.

Since last year, Hefei City has prioritized establishing an ecosystem for the robotics industry, focusing on creating platforms, refining use cases, and penetrating various sectors. To date, over 170 upstream and downstream enterprises have gathered in the city. The industrial chain—covering everything from the "brain" (control systems), "cerebellum" (motion planning/coordination), physical bodies (bodies/chassis), to core components—has now been largely completed.

To holistically advance the entire AI industry chain, Anhui is taking dual approaches. On one hand, it provides original innovation momentum for the development of its artificial intelligence sector. On the other hand, it encourages enterprises, governments, universities, research institutes, and other entities to open up more application scenarios, cultivating typical cases of integrated applications in niche industries and establishing benchmark demonstrations for "AI Plus." At the recently held "AI Plus" Scenario Innovation Conference and AI Industry Capital Matchmaking Event, Anhui collectively released a batch of high-value AI application scenarios. These include a digital-intelligence converged innovative application for smart operations command on expressways, and an AI+ coal mine full business process application scenario, among others. This showcases the vast potential for deep integration between AI technology and Anhui's key industries and distinctive culture.

Among the most valuable application scenarios are computing power, intelligent driving, healthcare, smart homes, and domestic use. Based on research into national policies and practices concerning these scenarios, it's undeniable that Anhui is in the leading position.

To accelerate its development into an influential hub for AI industrial innovation, Anhui has recently introduced a series of guiding documents, including the "Three-Year Action Plan for Artificial General Intelligence Innovation Development in Anhui Province (2023–2025)" and the "Action Plan for Accelerating 'AI Plus' Initiatives in Anhui Province." These efforts continuously refine its policy framework supporting AI advancement. To deeply implement the "AI Plus" strategy, Anhui also issued the "Several Policies for Building Anhui into an Innovation and Application Highland for Artificial General Intelligence (Version 2.0)" this August. Currently, the scale of Anhui's intelligent robotics industry ranks among China's top tier nationwide.

By accelerating the "AI Plus" initiative and vigorously implementing specialized actions for integrated applications—using government funds to guide increased social capital investment—Anhui has continuously cultivated and expanded the industrial scale. As a result, Anhui Province's AI industry development has risen to fifth place nationally, successfully positioning itself at the forefront of China's new wave of innovative AI industrial development.
