Recently, reporters learned from the Anhui Provincial Development and Reform Commission that Anhui Province, aiming at the goal of "national‑level, internationalized, and hub‑oriented," is continuously expanding and upgrading its system of open platforms. The province has created a tiered matrix of high‑level open platforms; 38 platforms are currently included on the official management list.

Anhui is deepening construction of the China (Anhui) Pilot Free Trade Zone and advancing the replication and promotion of 77 pilot measures for high‑level, institutional openness. The province has successfully established a national China‑Europe freight train consolidation center. To date, the Hefei China‑Europe freight train service has operated more than 5,000 departures and provides point‑to‑point connections to over 170 international destination cities in 20 countries.

Anhui has hosted the World Manufacturing Convention for seven consecutive years and has twice held the RCEP Local Government and Friendship Cities Cooperation (Huangshan) Forum. Anhui successfully held the inaugural International Rural Innovation & Development Expo, which attracted 282 companies from more than 20 countries and regions.

Anhui established the Anhui Enterprises International Trade and Economic Cooperation Alliance and has successfully organized international cooperation matchmaking events such as the Alliance’s "Engineering+" and "Finance+" sessions and the 2025 Anhui Merchants Business Conference’s outbound linkage meeting, serving more than 300 enterprises going abroad. The province has deepened cooperation mechanisms with Singapore and encouraged enterprises to participate in construction at Singapore’s Changi Airport.

Anhui launched the first session of the "Understanding China" course to attract quality foreign investment into the province. Through the "Anhui Goes Global" partner program, the province has invited 57 organizations to join. At the World Chambers and Associations Conference Match-making Meeting, Anhui invited 59 domestic and overseas business associations from 31 countries and regions, resulting in more than 180 preliminary cooperation intentions.
