From July 26 to 28, the highly anticipated 2025 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) was held in Shanghai. Over 800 enterprises gathered on site, showcasing more than 3,000 cutting-edge exhibits. Hefei companies such as Youibot, LindenBot, and iFLYTEK made appearances at the event, demonstrating the strength of “Hefei Intelligence.”

Hefei’s “Hardcore” Enterprises Make a Group Debut

Robots transformed into “servers,” completing ice cream production. Hefei’s Youibot brought its robotic matrix “Tianyan” series to the event to demonstrate its skills, showcasing various forms of robots under the “one brain, multiple morphologies” embodied intelligence model. In response to instructions from the audience, mobile operational robots cooperated and interacted with each other to collaboratively identify target characters from scrambled letters, autonomously transport and accurately assemble sentences, displaying the smart brain of industrial embodied intelligence.

Leju Robot presented four major scenario solutions combining “humanoid robots+” for industrial manufacturing, commercial services, scientific research and education, and training grounds. On site, a 1:1 reproduction of actual factory processes was displayed, featuring the latest embodied intelligence innovation solutions of the “Kuafu” humanoid robot in “material box handling” and “material sorting” scenarios.

In the AI + Robotics exhibition area, LindenBot’s embodied intelligent integrated data collection, training, and reasoning machine revealed the “robot evolution code”: a one-stop solution completing robot data collection and model training, compatible with most robot brands, becoming an “embodied intelligence accelerator” for research institutions and enterprises.

From “Getting Moving” to “Getting Used”

This global gathering of wisdom sparks great anticipation for the everyday application of intelligent technologies.

As the intelligent era accelerates, Hefei is actively “seizing the beachhead” to promote development of the intelligent robotics industry. Hefei is advancing the construction of four major public service platforms: parts processing, product testing, scenario training, and competitive events. It is also implementing a vehicle-machine-human collaboration plan to facilitate supply-demand matching across the new energy vehicle, low-altitude aircraft, and intelligent robotics industry chains, creating benchmark applications in emergency rescue, education, cultural tourism, logistics, and other fields.

Relying on existing scientific research strengths and breakthroughs in expanding application scenarios, Hefei is accelerating the layout of the entire upstream and downstream industrial chain. Currently, Hefei has over 160 enterprises in the intelligent robotics industry chain, including 17 full-machine companies represented by Leju, Engine AI, and Zerith; 6 “brain” companies represented by iFLYTEK; 13 “small brain” companies represented by VSTC; and more than 20 core component enterprises represented by HRG Tonan. Together, they have initially formed an integrated R&D and manufacturing pattern of “brain - small brain - core components - body.”
