On July 17th, as a supporting event of the Third China International Supply Chain Expo, the Beijing-Anhui Promotion on Supply Chain 2025 was held in Beijing. The cooperation between Beijing and Anhui is a collaborative practice that links the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta, two major national strategies. It serves as a pioneering exploration in promoting nationwide regional coordinated development. Beijing and Anhui, about 1,000 kilometers apart. However, the story of cooperation between Beijing and Anhui has created many benchmark cases, with some industrial cooperation projects achieving unprecedented innovation and breakthroughs. As the only jointly-organized event by provinces and municipalities during this edition of the Expo, the successful hosting of the inaugural Beijing-Anhui Promotion on Supply Chain 2025 marked a fresh exploration and a beneficial attempt for both parties to leverage their respective strengths and collectively enhance the resilience and vitality of industrial and supply chains. The morning of July 17 in Beijing was clear and sunny. That very morning, the conference venue was filled with distinguished guests and bustling with activity as the Beijing-Anhui Promotion on Supply Chain 2025 officially commenced. This was a high-level dialogue, bringing together over 500 participants from more than 40 international organizations and institutions, government agencies, academicians, experts, and leading industry enterprises across 18 countries and regions. On site, multiple enterprises and institutions from Beijing and Anhui successfully signed 14 intention agreements covering key areas such as supply chain finance, intelligent manufacturing, and data computing power, with the total value of the intention agreements surpassing 5 billion yuan. Beijing and Anhui each promoted their competitive industries and policy benefits, announcing two highly representative and forward-looking supply chain application scenarios. At this promotion conference, focusing on the core track of artificial intelligence, the complementary advantages of industrial chains in both regions were thoroughly reviewed, a precise supply and demand matching list was formed, and 20 key enterprises were organized for in-depth, one-on-one discussions; meanwhile, 300 selected high-quality enterprises were matched for on-site exchanges. The conference also featured an AI market display and interactive area, showcasing advanced technologies and scenario innovations such as virtual digital humans, augmented reality surgical navigation, and AI-enabled inclusive education platforms, creating an immersive interactive experience space that offered viewers a tangible, perceptible, and participatory interactive digital entertainment experience. In the era of economic globalization, only by adhering to open cooperation in global industrial and supply chains can we achieve win-win development.
