On the morning of July 2nd, the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government held a mobilization meeting for the third batch of major projects in 2025. Reporters learned from the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, there are 537 projects in the third batch across the province with a total investment of 324.08 billion yuan; the planned investment for the year is 66.91 billion yuan. Among them, there are 13 projects each with an investment of over 3 billion yuan, and 8 projects each with an investment of over 5 billion yuan. The newly started projects have achieved a "dual improvement" in both quantity and quality.

The projects are "new and high-end" and the structure is "improved and optimized" which are the notable features of this batch of projects. It is reported that among these projects, 271 are directed towards emerging industries, accounting for 50.5%, with a planned annual investment of 30.41 billion yuan, accounting for 45.4%; among them, there are 51 new energy vehicle projects and 53 new material projects. There are 137 high-tech projects, accounting for 25.5%, with a planned annual investment of 16.8 billion yuan, accounting for 25.1%.

From the perspective of categories, among the projects initiated in this mobilization, there are 312 manufacturing projects, accounting for 58.1%, with a planned annual investment of 36.43 billion yuan, accounting for 54.4%; there are 80 infrastructure projects, accounting for 14.9%, with a planned annual investment of 17.69 billion yuan, accounting for 26.4%. At the same time, it is planned to start 95 key service industry projects in the third quarter, with a planned annual investment of 6.42 billion yuan; it is also planned to commence 50 social welfare projects, with a planned annual investment of 6.37 billion yuan.

The person in charge of the Key Project Construction Office of the Provincial Development and Reform Commission stated that, going forward, efforts will continue to be made to expedite the construction of key projects, seize the current prime construction period, and push for the rapid progress of ongoing projects, aiming to have all planned provincial key projects commence by the end of October; a strong emphasis will be placed on advancing preliminary work, implementing a monthly scheduling mechanism for major project pre-construction challenges, enhancing policy guidance, and striving for more projects to be included in the national "portfolio"; service and support efficiency will be improved, fully leveraging the role of mechanisms such as the special task teams for ensuring essential factors for major projects; the precision of investment promotion will be intensified, promoting the implementation of policies for "attracting investment and talent" and industrial cultivation 2.0, and striving to secure a batch of "golden opportunity" projects that extend, supplement, and strengthen industry chains, with a full effort to enhance manufacturing investment.
