On June 21, Hefei Xinqiao International Airport simultaneously upgraded two major routes: not only launching Anhui province’s first regular direct passenger flight to Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, but also increasing the frequency of flights between Hefei and Osaka. The Hefei-Osaka route now operates daily direct flights to Japan, greatly facilitating outbound travel plans for residents during the summer vacation.

It is understood that the Hefei-Hanoi route is operated by West Air, with three weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The flight numbers and schedules are as follows: outbound PN6549 (depart Hefei at 09:05, arrive Hanoi at 11:05); inbound PN6550 (depart Hanoi at 12:05, return to Hefei at 15:35).

The increased Hefei-Japan flights are operated by 9air Airlines, adding flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Combined with existing flights operated by China Eastern Airlines, the total weekly flights reach eight. The added flights have the following numbers and times: outbound AQ1255 (depart Hefei at 09:45, arrive Osaka at 13:30); inbound AQ1256 (depart Osaka at 14:30, return to Hefei at 17:00).

To ensure the smooth operation of the inaugural flights and to handle the peak inbound and outbound passenger flow during the summer travel season, the Hefei Border Inspection Station has strengthened coordination with the airport and airlines. They have proactively monitored flight dynamics, further simplified the immigration procedures, opened all inspection channels, and actively guided passengers to travel safely and orderly. These measures provide solid support for the prosperous development of the Hefei port and convenient travel for passengers.
