On June 3, 2025, the Anhui Day, China Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka in Japan, themed "Green and Smart, Wonderful Life with Anhui," grandly opened at the China Pavilion. Approximately 120 representatives from the political, business, cultural, and tourism sectors of China and Japan gathered to celebrate the occasion. 

The event was packed with highlights. In the intangible cultural heritage exhibition area, the representative projects of Anhui, such as Huizhou ink sticks, bamboo carvings, and iron paintings, were vividly presented through images, physical displays, demonstrations, and interactive experiences. This comprehensive showcase interpreted the inheritance, development, and unique charm of Anhui's intangible cultural heritage skills, attracting numerous visitors to stop and participate. The sci-tech interactive exhibition area highlighted Anhui's innovative achievements in fields like deep-space exploration and artificial intelligence, demonstrating the vigorous momentum of Anhui's high-quality development.

The cultural and intangible heritage performance segments were a continuous highlight. Selections from the classic Huangmei operas "Marriage of the Fairy Princess" and "Female Consort Prince" were followed by the "Orchid Drum Rhythm" dance of the Flower Drum Lantern, with intangible cultural heritage inheritors interpreting the millennia-old charm of Huizhou culture through their melodious singing and dancing. A master of Keemun Black Tea's intangible cultural heritage demonstrated the traditional tea ceremony of "Keemun Aroma," whose philosophical essence resonated with the Japanese tea ceremony's principles of harmony, respect, purity, and tranquility, using tea as a medium to build a bridge of cultural exchange between China and Japan, crafted with great care.    

The Anhui Day showcased the province's profound historical and cultural heritage, cutting-edge green ecological practices, and dynamic frontier technological innovation through diverse formats such as thematic exhibitions, intangible cultural heritage demonstrations, sci-tech interactions, and industrial promotions. This multidimensional presentation successfully conveyed the unique charm of Anhui, where the "elegance of Hui culture" harmoniously blends with "intelligent manufacturing for the future."
