In the process of promoting the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta, Anhui has leveraged its strengths, collaborated with Shanghai, Jiangsu, and Zhejiang, and through institutional innovation, industrial coordination, and technological linkage, broken administrative barriers and optimized resource allocation, achieving a synergistic effect that is greater than the sum of its parts, initially establishing a number of world-class advanced manufacturing clusters.

Benefiting from integrated development, the Yangtze River Delta has gathered 40% of the national new energy vehicle production capacity, with the density of enterprises above designated size being three times the national average. In the latest ranking of new energy vehicle production, all four regions of Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui have entered the top seven in China, with Anhui ranking first in the country.

Complementing each other's strengths and collectively enhancing capabilities is the unified action taken by Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui in response to the new goal of "integration." Targeting new industrial sectors, these four regions have joined forces, integrating and innovating to accelerate the transformation of technology into practical productivity. 

By gathering essential resources and strengthening collaborative development, the Yangtze River Delta region has already established a number of key competitive industries, including integrated circuits, biomedicine, artificial intelligence, and new energy vehicles. In light of the new situation and requirements for autonomous control over the industrial chain, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui have jointly established 12 innovation consortia, implementing 90 national and provincial-level research projects; they have also formed 19 industrial chain alliances to gather more upstream and downstream enterprises and carry out actions to supplement, consolidate, and strengthen the industrial chains.  

Anhui places great importance on this initiative, closely focusing on the two key words "integration" and "high quality," and has formulated an implementation plan for further advancing the high-quality integration and development of the Yangtze River Delta. Taking proactive alignment with Shanghai's construction of the "five centers" as an important approach, Anhui focuses on cross-regional coordination in technological and industrial innovation to develop and grow new quality productive forces.
