On May 27, Hefei City joined forces with 19 other cities (districts)—including Beijing (Economic-Technological Development Area), Shanghai (Minhang District), Hangzhou, and Wuhan—to establish the Scenario Innovation City Alliance. This initiative aims to build a cross-regional collaborative platform for scenario-driven innovation, accelerating the interregional transformation of technological achievements and fostering the growth of emerging industries. 

The alliance is designed to break down administrative barriers, promoting the open sharing of scenario resources among member cities across regions. It seeks to expand the scope of "finding scenarios for products and products for scenarios," thereby driving a closed-loop process of "achievement discovery - scenario exploration - scenario matching - application validation - large-scale promotion."

In 2025, the alliance will focus on four major directions: promoting the interconnectivity of cross-regional scenario resources, collaborative technological breakthroughs, promotion of benchmark demonstrations, and creation of super scenarios. It will open up scenario resources, dynamically release the alliance's scenario opportunity list, build a scenario resource database for the alliance, advance the sharing of urban scenario data, hold cross-regional scenario matching conferences, create cross-regional demonstration projects, and plan cross-regional super scenarios.

Moving forward, the alliance will continue to deepen the mechanisms for cross-regional collaborative innovation, strengthen the construction of urban scenario innovation ecosystems, accelerate the integration of scenario resources, technical collaboration, and cultivation of benchmark scenarios, explore paths for cross-regional and cross-industry collaboration, and provide innovative practice models for the process of domestic market integration.

It is understood that since Hefei launched the construction of a "City of Comprehensive Scenario Innovation" in 2022, it has systematically promoted urban scenario innovation work and deeply explored practical paths for scenario innovation. In the future, Hefei will implement and refine the various tasks of the alliance, working hand in hand with alliance cities to build a positive scenario innovation ecosystem.
