On the morning of May 12th, reporters learned at the press conference for the 17th Anhui International Tea Industry Expo 2025 that the 17th Anhui Tea Expo, jointly organized by nine entities including the Provincial Supply and Marketing Cooperative, the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Provincial Department of Commerce, and the governments of Hefei, Lu'an, Xuancheng, Chizhou, Anqing, and Huangshan, is scheduled to be held from May 16th to 19th at the Binhu International Convention and Exhibition Center in Hefei. The theme of this year's tea expo is "Anhui Tea, Welcoming Guests from All Over the World," with a focus on exhibition and sales, tea-related activities, business matching, cultural dissemination, and international exchanges. The event aims to create a professional, market-oriented, high-quality, and international platform for production and marketing matching as well as exchange and cooperation in the tea industry, thereby empowering the high-quality development of Anhui tea.
The exhibition integrates "exhibition, competition, performance, and tasting" into a dynamic showcase, organizing a variety of activities including exclusive sessions for purchasers, tea competitions, sharing sessions on the transformation and application of scientific and technological achievements in the tea industry, Anhui tea culture markets, brand promotion conferences, and consumption assistance. Through multi-dimensional linkages such as production-marketing matching, technology empowerment, cultural experience, brand promotion, and public welfare support for agriculture, the event aims to fully stimulate the vitality of the industry. Additionally, there will be a signing ceremony for tea industry projects at the event site, with a dedicated procurement negotiation area set up to invite key regional purchasers for on-site visits and negotiations, achieving precise alignment. A live streaming section for the tea expo will also be established, creating a "cloud-based tea expo" that combines exhibition and negotiation, both online and offline, effectively enhancing the trading functionality of the exhibition. It is worth mentioning that this tea expo has also set up a Foreign Trade Premium and International Exhibition Zone to increase the supply of high-quality foreign trade products and accelerate the integration of domestic and international trade. Consuls General (or consuls) from countries such as Pakistan and the UAE, as well as cooperative organizations from Malaysia, Nepal, and Mongolia, were invited to participate, enhancing the influence of Anhui tea and promoting its global reach.
