Our province is actively leveraging the think tank advantages of the New Energy Vehicle Industry Cluster Construction Strategic Advisory Committee, establishing a provincial Future Intelligent Connected New Energy Vehicle Innovation Center, and constructing a "1+N" open automotive ecological laboratory system. This focuses on the major strategic deployments of the country and the innovative development needs of the automotive industry, aiming to become a global R&D headquarters for automotive companies and a hub for automotive technology research and development, embracing the new era of intelligent connected vehicles.

In 2023, our province witnessed many significant events related to the automotive industry: The total revenue of the entire automotive industry chain exceeded one trillion yuan for the first time, and the volume of automobile production ranked second nationally for the first time; The country's first provincial-level local regulation, the "Anhui Province New Energy Vehicle Industry Cluster Development Regulations," was introduced.

By collaborating on innovation while also achieving breakthroughs in individual areas, Anhui is accelerating the construction of a dual-drive strategy for automotive enterprises that combines "independent research and development + collaborative innovation," creating a distinctive automotive innovation ecosystem.
