On November 28, diplomatic envoys participating in the international communication event "Opportunities in China: International Communication Event of High-Quality Development of Anhui for Diplomatic Envoys in China" visited Hefei's Luogang Park and Sanhe Ancient Town, experiencing Anhui's rich cultural history and the vibrant practice of innovation and inheritance.

Once a bustling airport, Luogang has now transformed into one of the world's largest urban parks—Luogang Park. Covering an area of 11.45 square kilometers, with green space accounting for 90%, it resembles a vibrant "green heart" embedded in the center of Hefei. Here, visitors can almost hear the gentle whispers of time and feel the city’s vibrant energy.

Within Luogang Park, many remnants of the old airport can still be found. The former terminal has been transformed into an Urban Construction Museum, the large hangar has been converted into an art hall, and the original beacon platform has become a stunning "little mushroom." These old buildings, rejuvenated by the passage of time, bear witness to Hefei's urban renewal and carry the hopes and dreams for the future.

After leaving Luogang Park, the envoys arrived at Sanhe Ancient Town. Named for the convergence of the Fengle River, Hangbu River, and Xiaonan River, this ancient town has a history of over 2,550 years. With its quaint architecture, cobblestone streets, and flowing waters, it transports visitors back a thousand years.

Sanhe Ancient Town is a typical representative of the Jianghuai water towns, featuring a unique landscape of "eight antiquities," including ancient rivers, bridges, streets, alleys, residences, tea houses, temples, and battlefields. Here, the diplomatic envoys wandered through the town's streets, savoring authentic Sanhe cuisine and enjoying traditional opera performances, completely immersed in the experience.

The diplomatic envoys expressed that this event allowed them to deeply feel Anhui’s solid steps toward high-quality development. Whether through the innovative legacy of Luogang Park or the ancient charm of Sanhe Ancient Town, they left filled with confidence and anticipation for Anhui's future.
