On November 27, the "Opportunities in China: International Communication Event of High-Quality Development of Anhui for Diplomatic Envoys in China" co-hosted by the Publicity Department of the Anhui Provincial Party Committee, the Anhui Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, and CRI Online, took place in Fuyang’s "Wada Tomato Valley." This area has transformed from traditional farmland into a modern agricultural demonstration zone that integrates technology, sustainability, and efficiency.

Upon entering this paradise of tomatoes, visitors are greeted by rows of neatly arranged greenhouse structures, resembling giant glass palaces that shimmer in the sunlight. The warm and humid conditions within the greenhouses provide an ideal environment for tomato growth.

Here, every tomato is meticulously cared for—from irrigation to fertilization, and from temperature control to pest management—everything is managed intelligently. Using advanced IoT technology, managers can monitor environmental data in real-time and make precise adjustments based on the growth needs of the tomatoes, ensuring that each fruit thrives.

The diplomatic envoys toured key facilities such as the greenhouses and smart irrigation systems. They learned in detail about the innovative technologies and successful experiences of Anhui Wada Modern Technology Agriculture Co., Ltd. (hereafter: Anhui Wada) in crop cultivation, smart agricultural management, and deep processing of agricultural products. Anhui Wada's technicians demonstrated the operation and application of the smart agriculture system, including real-time monitoring of soil moisture, temperature, and light through IoT technology, as well as using big data analysis to guide agricultural production for precision planting and efficient management.

As the operating unit, Anhui Wada plays a significant role in demonstrating and leading agricultural upgrades and increasing farmers' incomes in surrounding areas. Through technical training and on-site observation, they impart advanced planting techniques and management experiences to local farmers, helping them improve agricultural production efficiency and economic benefits.

The diplomatic envoys expressed high appreciation for Anhui Wada’s modern agricultural development model. They unanimously agreed that Anhui Wada has achieved significant results in promoting agricultural modernization, particularly in the areas of smart agriculture, precision farming, and technological innovation in deep processing of agricultural products, setting an example for agricultural development in Anhui and across the nation.
