On November 26, seven diplomatic envoys from countries including Ethiopia, Gambia, Czech Republic, Greece, Togo, Spain, and Uruguay visited the "Northern Anhui Water Town"—Yingshang County in Fuyang, Anhui Province—experiencing the unique water charm of the Jianghuai region, distinct from the misty rain of Jiangnan. The envoys first arrived at Anhui Seraphim Energy Co., Ltd., an innovative company focused on the manufacturing of photovoltaic equipment and components. They learned in detail about Seraphim's development history, product features, and technological innovations. The envoys expressed their impression of the company's innovative strength and commitment to sustainable development. Bali River Scenic Area, a national 5A-level tourist attraction that serves as a beautiful showcase for Yingshang. The envoys were captivated by the picturesque natural scenery here. Surrounded by green waters and changing with the seasons, each landscape exuded a unique charm. They strolled through the scenic area, enjoying the views of the lake and mountains, frequently stopping to take photos and praising the natural beauty of the location. After leaving the Bali River Scenic Area, the envoys headed to the Jiuhe Tower, an ancient tower built during the Xuande period of the Ming Dynasty. After restoration, it has been revitalized, featuring an octagonal nine-story structure with flying eaves and sweeping corners, exuding grandeur. The ground floor, approximately 800 square meters, houses a large colorful sculpture group commemorating the life of Guan Zhong, themed around his contributions to national unity. The envoys listened to the stories of Jiuhe Tower and learned about its historical and cultural significance. Subsequently, the group entered the quaint Guanzhong Old Street. This old street stretches 6.1 kilometers and features the architectural style of ancient commercial streets and courtyards from the Ming and Qing dynasties. It serves as a fashionable tourist district that integrates dining, shopping, entertainment, and cultural functions. The envoys walked along the bluestone pavement, exploring the charming shops that offered handicrafts, local snacks, cafes, and bookstores. They watched performances of dragon dances and drum storytelling, experiencing the warmth and hospitality of the people of Yingshang. Guanzhong Old Street not only preserves tradition but also incorporates modern elements, achieving a harmonious coexistence of culture and commerce. The diplomatic envoys stated that this trip allowed them to witness not only the rich natural landscapes and cultural resources of Yingshang but also to deeply appreciate Anhui's remarkable achievements on the path to high-quality development. They expressed their intention to share their experiences and insights from this visit upon returning to their home countries, actively promoting and recommending Anhui.
