Listed companies serve as a barometer for economic development, reflecting the vitality and innovation of regional economies. On November 13, at the Forum 2024 on High-Quality Development of Anhui Listed Companies and the Anhui Listed Company Development Report Release Conference, the Anhui Listed Companies Development Report (2024) and the "Anhui Listed Companies Series Rankings" were officially launched. This marks the seventh consecutive year of comprehensive analysis and description of Anhui's listed companies since 2018. 
As of the end of October 2024, there are 181 listed companies in Anhui Province, ranking seventh in the country. This year, six new listed companies were added, placing Anhui fifth nationwide. The province has 24 companies listed on the SSE STAR Market, ranking first in central China and sixth nationally. Currently, all 16 cities in Anhui have listed companies, making it the ninth province in the country to achieve full coverage of listed companies across its cities. The market value of listed companies reflects investors' recognition of their value in the capital market. According to statistics in 2023, the market capitalization of Anhui's A-share listed companies reached 1.858 trillion RMB, ranking first in central China and eleventh nationally. The speed of corporate listings indicates the vitality and innovation of regional economic development. From the perspective of the total number of newly listed companies, in 2023, Anhui added 13 new A-share listed companies, ranking first in central China and seventh nationwide. By the end of 2023, Hefei had 82 listed companies, continuously rising in national rankings to 12th among 294 cities, and third among cities in central and western China, following Chengdu and Changsha.
