On September 10, 2024 Inbound Tourism High-Quality Development Conference was held in Hefei. The China Tourism Academy released the "China Inbound Tourism High-Quality Development Report" along with a selection of preferred inbound tourism projects. Huangshan and Hongcun village in Anhui were respectively selected as one of the top ten scenic spots and ancient towns favored by inbound tourists. 

At the event, the China Tourism Academy released the "China Inbound Tourism High-Quality Development Report" along with a selection of preferred inbound tourism projects. Along with the Forbidden City and the Terracotta Warriors, Huangshan was successfully selected as one of the top ten scenic resorts favored by inbound tourists. Hongcun village, together with Lijiang Ancient Town and Wuzhen, was chosen as one of the top ten famous ancient towns and cities liked by inbound tourists. The new inbound tourism route TOP5 list includes "Four Seasons in Order - Chinese Elegance Huangshan Tour" launched by Tunmeng Xueshe in Huangshan.
