In the process of writing a new chapter on the integration of the Yangtze River Delta, Hangzhou and Huangshan are both participants and pioneers; they are both beneficiaries and contributors. Through cross-provincial cooperation between Anhui and Zhejiang, Huangshan City has continuously achieved leapfrog development, providing a powerful impetus for the higher quality integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta. Huangshan and Hangzhou are close in terms of landscape, culture, and interactions. Hangzhou's private economy is developed, with a strong industrial base, and economic cooperation is increasingly becoming the focus of Hangzhou-Huangshan collaboration. In recent years, Huangshan City has tightly focused on the two key words of integration and high quality, treating deep integration into the development of the Yangtze River Delta as the "top priority" for economic and social development. It strives to create a high-level new model for regional cooperation, achieving a number of landmark results in industrial collaboration, policy coordination, and joint project construction. Numbers are silent yet powerful. Sets of data record the cooperative trajectory between Hangzhou and Huangshan— Since 2021, Huangshan city has signed a total of 221 investment projects with the Hangzhou region, with an agreed investment amount of 27.58 billion yuan, including 72 projects with an investment of over 100 million yuan each, amounting to an agreed investment of 23.03 billion yuan. Up to now, 35 projects have commenced construction and 22 have been completed. Moving forward together, the cooperation between Huangshan and Hangzhou is still in full swing— Recently, with the official issuance and implementation of the "2024 Annual List of Cooperative Items between Hangzhou and Huangshan," which includes 20 municipal-level cooperative items and 3 items requiring joint submission for provincial-level support. Among them, in the economic field, the two cities will accelerate the joint construction of the Hangzhou-Huangshan Green Industrial Park.
