At the construction site of the Hefei to Zhoukou Expressway's Shouxian to Yingshang section, over 200 workers are seizing the good weather to carry out tasks. Currently, the subgrade and bridge works for the project have been completed.

The Yingshang to Linquan section of the Hefei to Zhoukou Expressway is an important part of Anhui Province's planned "Five Verticals and Ten Horizontals" expressway network. It is designed with a speed limit of 120 km/h and meets the standards of a two-way four-lane first-class highway.

After the completion and opening to traffic, it will not only facilitate the lives of people along the route by providing a safer and more convenient mode of travel for local residents but also promote the economic and trade development of the regions along the route.

In January and February 2024, Anhui Province completed an investment of 14.46 billion yuan in transportation infrastructure, a year-on-year increase of 18.5%, achieving 10.2% of the annual planned target. Among this, highway construction accounted for an investment of 13.09 billion yuan, up 17.7% compared to the same period last year.
