On March 15th, with the weather clearing up and warming, construction machinery and vehicles were busy at various construction sites within and outside the Yanghu Ecological Park area in Ma'anshan City, Anhui Province. The greening of Meishan Mountain is progressing in an orderly manner, and the implementation of the lakeside green landscape is also being accelerated. In the future, Yanghu Ecological Park will be developed into an "urban ecological restoration demonstration site, high-quality ecological park innovation model" that integrates waterfront leisure, health exercise, and health care.

In recent years, Ma'anshan City has adhered to the principles of ecological priority and green development, strengthening ecological environment governance and protection, promoting the greening and low-carbon development of economic and social growth, and accelerating the construction of a city with beautiful landscapes and strong ecological features. It is understood that the main construction content of the Yanghu Park and Water System Renovation Project includes the Yanghu Park construction and water system renovation works. The Yanghu Park construction project mainly involves landscaping planting, architecture, water supply and drainage, service facilities, cultural features and scenic revetments. The Yanghu Park and its water systems also serve as vital bodies of water for urban flood discharge and ecological landscape. By carrying out comprehensive ecological remediation, constructing, and restoring the wetland ecological landscape along the Yanghu and its tributaries, the project will improve the riverside ecological environment, increase public green space, enhance the urban ecosystem, elevate the regional environmental quality of the city, refine the regional flood prevention and drainage system, and promote high-quality economic and social development of the city.
