Minor Cold, known as "Xiao Han" in Chinese, is one of the traditional solar terms in the lunar calendar. It usually falls around January 5th or 6th and marks the gradual transition from winter to spring. Despite its name, Minor Cold is still a cold period in many parts of China, with temperatures dropping and frosty weather prevailing.
