Hefei launches cargo charter route to Belgium

On the morning of December 13th at 10:29, a Sichuan Airlines Airbus A330-200F all-cargo aircraft took off from Hefei Xinqiao International Airport and flew directly to Brussels, Belgium, known as the "Capital of Europe," marking the opening of the first freighter route between Hefei and Belgium.

With the rapid development of cross-border e-commerce in China, it has become a trend to export Chinese manufactured goods to various parts of the world through air transportation. The cargo carried by this full cargo flight is a total of 50 tons, all of which are sold by local e-commerce merchants. After a journey of 13 hours, these cross-border e-commerce products will arrive at Brussels Airport.

To ensure the smooth operation of the all-cargo flight, Anhui Aviation Logistics Company actively coordinated with customs, security inspection, freight forwarding agents, and other related units to optimize the business environment and improve clearance efficiency. Currently, Hefei Xinqiao International Airport operates regular international cargo routes to destinations such as Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Incheon, Osaka, Amsterdam, and Dallas. This charter route further expands the accessibility of Hefei Airport, meets the efficient flow of goods needs for local and neighboring cross-border e-commerce enterprises, and effectively promotes the construction of Hefei Airport as an international air cargo hub.
