Anhui Homestay Inn Conference of 2023 successfully held

On November 11, 2023, the Anhui Homestay Inn Conference of 2023 grandly commenced in Yixian County, Huangshan City, Anhui Province.

The conference was hosted by the Anhui Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and the People's Government of Huangshan City, with the Cultural and Tourism Bureau of Huangshan City and the People's Government of Yixian County as the organizers. With the theme of "Finding Peace in Accommodation, Staying in Anhui," the conference planned a series of activities, including the Anhui Homestay Market Fair, Homestay Industry Talent Innovation and Development Salon, Boutique Homestay Inspection, and Homestay "Breakfast" Special Skills Competition.

During the conference, representatives from Yixian County, Lujiang County, Qingyang County, and Yuexi County delivered speeches. The homestay associations of Anhui, Guangdong, and 10 other provinces (municipalities) jointly signed the "Pledge of Alliance" agreement to promote regional cooperation and development in the homestay industry. The "Guidelines for Operating Beautiful Homestays in Anhui" were released, and the "Huangshan Homestay Industry College" was inaugurated. Awards were also presented to representatives of leading figures in Anhui's tourism homestay sector and winners of the Anhui Provincial Rural Homestay Creative Design Competition.

The conference pointed out that in recent years, various regions have actively guided and seized opportunities, promoting the significant development of the tourism homestay industry. Distinctive homestay clusters have been formed in Yixian County, Lujiang County, Wuhu's Aili Village, and Anqing's Wanshan, with the total number exceeding 6,000, ranking among the top in the nation in terms of the total number of national-level homestays in the province. This has effectively promoted the transformation and upgrading of the cultural and tourism industry.
