On November 5th, the highly anticipated 6th China International Import Expo (CIIE) commenced in Shanghai. Anhui actively participated, showcasing a blend of technological and cultural exhibits. The CIIE serves as a vital platform for global technological innovation. This year, Anhui presented a wide range of cutting-edge technological products. iFlytek's Spark large language model and AI Learning Machine were on display in the Chinese path to modernization Exhibition Hall, while the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, USTC, showcased Quantum Communication (Zu Chongzhi) and Efort Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. in Wuhu presented intelligent robots at the China Pilot Free Trade Zone 10th Anniversary Exhibition. Huainan City continued its participation in the cultural exchange activities of the 6th CIIE. Eight projects, including traditional tofu production, Shouzhou Kiln ceramic culture, Zijin inkstone, Fengtai black pottery, Huainan beef soup, Shouzhou vanilla products, Huainan Partridge chicken, and Guqiao vinegar brewing techniques, offered visitors a feast of intangible cultural heritage. In the previous five CIIEs, Anhui province organized over 10,000 purchasing units and more than 34,300 participants, resulting in accumulated procurement transactions of $9.987 billion and attracting investments exceeding 48.8 billion yuan from over 30 countries and regions. This year, our province registered 2,416 trading groups with 7,274 participants, aiming to leverage the CIIE platform to drive trade and investment, deeply integrate into the global industrial and supply chains, and demonstrate Anhui's confidence and determination in opening up to the world.
