Hefei opens direct cargo flight route to New York

On October 19th at 6:37, a fully loaded Kalitta Air B747-400F cargo plane carrying 91 tons of outbound goods successfully took off from Hefei Xinqiao International Airport, marking the official opening of the direct cargo flight route from Hefei to New York, with a one-way capacity of approximately 100 tons.

Currently, Hefei Xinqiao International Airport operates regular cargo routes to destinations including New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Incheon, Osaka, Amsterdam, Dallas, Shenzhen, Zhengzhou, and Ezhou.

From January to September 2023, the number of flights and cargo volume on regular cargo routes at Hefei Xinqiao International Airport increased by 12.9% and 20.1% respectively compared to the same period last year.
