In just over 10 days, the 2023 World Manufacturing Convention will kick off in Hefei. What are the highlights and attractions of this convention? On September 5th, the Information Office of Anhui Provincial People's Government held a press conference in Beijing. The number of participating companies, exhibition area, and the degree of market-oriented operation of this convention will set new records. The main exhibition hall will cover 20,000 square meters, with a market-oriented exhibition area of 60,000 square meters, showcasing the latest representative achievements in the global manufacturing sector, such as quantum computers, power rockets, 600 km/hour maglev trains, superconducting cyclotron proton therapy systems, 80,000-ton die forging presses and the nation's first industrial internet platform with large modeling capabilities — the "Ling Yang 3.0" platform. 
The convention's framework is set up according to "1+6+11+21+21", i.e., one opening ceremony and main forum, six "600" project docking activities, 11 themed activities, 21 forum activities, and 21 activities held by various cities. The richness of activities is the most in history. The internationalization level of this conference will be further enhanced, with invitations extended to more than 1,200 important guests from the global manufacturing sector, including foreign politicians, diplomatic envoys in China, heads of international organizations, and more than 300 foreign representatives from over 60 Fortune 500 companies and multinational corporations such as Volkswagen, Siemens, Continental Group, Air Liquide, and Corning. This year will also see the first "Entering Europe" series of activities, promoting the convention and attracting projects in Germany, Britain, the Netherlands, and other countries. Since 2018, the national relevant ministries and commissions, units, and the Anhui provincial government have jointly successfully held five World Manufacturing Conventions, with a total of 14,824 guest visits, signing 3,021 projects, and a total of over one trillion yuan of investment has been signed.
