The tunnel of Luzhou Avenue On August 25, the reporter learned from the relevant departments of Hefei that Luzhou Avenue (Fanhua Avenue - Jinxiu Avenue section) will soon be opened to traffic. This is the longest utility tunnel built in Anhui, the first municipal engineering tunnel constructed by the pipe-roofing method, and the first underground interchange tunnel in the province. Luzhou Avenue (Fanhua Avenue-Jinxiu Avenue section) is located in Luogang Central Park. To protect the integrity of the park, the avenue passes through the whole park in the form of a long underground tunnel with a north-south orientation and a total length of 4.5 kilometers. It is a double-track tunnel with two-way six lanes. The construction work started in October 2020 and was completed in August 2022. At present, the project is undergoing equipment commissioning and final finishing work. 
Inside the Luzhou Avenue tunnel The project has an underground interchange system located at the intersection of Luzhou Avenue and Huayuan Avenue, with a total length of about 1,000 meters and uses 34 box culverts. It is the first underground interchange in Anhui Province, forming a multi-directional and convenient road network in the park. According to the relevant person in charge of Hefei Binhu Investment Holding Group Co., Ltd., on the premise of ensuring safety, to further improve the visual experience of drivers, the tunnel has designed three different lighting modes. Among them, the projection mode can present an effect of "blue sky, white clouds" and "blue water."
