On July 16th, Hefei City in Anhui Province signed a cooperation agreement with the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce UAE, officially launching the "Hefei-Middle East Business Harbor."

As early as the end of January this year, during Hefei delegation’s visit to the UAE and Saudi Arabia, accompanying companies expressed their interest in expanding business operations in the UAE. The Chinese General Chamber of Commerce UAE responded positively, proactively offering to provide policy consultation and connect local market resources for Hefei's overseas enterprises. To further enhance economic openness, Hefei initiated the construction of the "Hefei-Middle East Business Harbor." Currently, five Hefei companies including Kangjuren Medical have established cooperation with the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce UAE and plan to set up operations in the Business Harbor.

It is reported that the "Hefei-Middle East Business Harbor" has leased an office space of approximately 1000 square meters in the core area of Dubai as the initial operational site for the business harbor. It will serve as a "bridgehead" for economic and trade cooperation between Hefei City and the Middle East region, responsible for connecting with local enterprises, commercial associations, overseas Chinese, funds, financial institutions, and other high-quality resources. The service aims to support Hefei enterprises in entering the Middle Eastern market by providing temporary office spaces.

Since the beginning of this year, Hefei City has continued to strengthen its efforts in attracting foreign investment, achieving positive results. An official from the Hefei Investment Promotion Bureau explained that the city's investment promotion system has organized nine groups to visit 11 countries and regions including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, and Australia, cumulatively connecting with nearly a hundred companies. From January to June, 33 new key foreign investment projects were signed, exceeding the planned progress by 16 percentage points, with agreed investments reaching 78.8 billion yuan.
