CIIE presents opportunities for world economy during hard times: Bangladeshi business professional

The fifth China International Import Expo (CIIE), set to be held in early November in China's economic hub Shanghai, is in the final preparation stage.

Al Mamun Mridha, acting secretary general of the Bangladesh China Chamber of Commerce and Industry, says CIIE presents huge opportunities that have kept the world economy rolling during hard times, showing China's obligation and responsibility towards the world.

Saying China has taken a zero-tariff policy for most Bangladeshi goods, Mridha hopes more Bangladeshi business people will take the opportunity to increase exports to China, and that trade ties between the two countries will grow even closer.
