On the morning of September 21, Anhui Forklift Group (Anhui Heli Co., Ltd) held the maiden voyage ceremony of "Heli" at Hefei Port. More than 100 forklift trucks worth about 3 million US dollars sold to the North American market were loaded and shipped. It is expected to arrive at the port of destination in 2 months.

As the domestic industrial vehicle industry leader, Anhui Heli exported over 60,000 trucks in 2021 and planned to export more than 70,000 units this year. However, the complex foreign trade environment has made booking cargo space and ocean shipping the biggest problem for enterprises to export products.

Through the efforts of Anhui Heli and the Anhui Provincial Port & Shipping Group, and with the strong support of the relevant government and customs departments, the "Heli" successfully made its maiden voyage in Hefei Port.

"This is an important achievement of the strategic cooperation between the two provincial state-owned enterprises, and it is also a successful practice of 'Anhui's goods shipped out of Anhui's Port,' which will better promote the stability and quality of foreign trade." Zhou Jun, member of the party committee, deputy secretary of the party committee, and general manager of Anhui Heli Co., Ltd., said.

Since 1991, Anhui Heli has maintained a leading position in the domestic industry in major economic indicators for 31 consecutive years. In 2016, Heli ranked among the top seven in the world's industrial vehicle industry. Heli has established an overseas agency network in more than 80 countries and regions, and its products are sold to more than 150 countries and regions worldwide. From January to August this year, Heli's export business continued to maintain rapid growth, with product sales up 20% yearly and sales revenue up 60% yearly.
